![]() I've found a lot of VST installers aren't very flexible or even accurately observe your directions as to the install location. I like your approach if it works most of the time. or do you need to copy other things along with the dll? I'm thinking of things like help or config files or sounds or whatever. So are you saying you just copy and paste the dll into a designated folder and that's it . but having them all in one easy to find place, properly indexed and installed in their own folder, makes changing them or removing them or whatever.so much easier when you don't have to look all over the place for them. It is possible to leave them alone and simply add them to the plug in manager scan list. cut and paste them into their own folder in the Cake VST folder. then it is a simple process to move them manually. If they do not install there automatically. I have found that many will install in their own folders (very important) in the cakewalk VST folder. ![]()
